The Art Meetings They are a biannual event (even years) where, during the first 15 days of August, around 10 artists settle in the town to produce their projects that, once completed, are exhibited in one of the rooms of the Museum of Art. Contemporary or in each of the exterior locations chosen for them.
These are intense days where strong ties are lived between the artists with scholarships, the residents of Genalguacil and the visitors who come to this town to be part of all this creative process. In addition, activities for children and adults, workshops and a varied program where musical theater performances, film screenings and even morning aerobics classes are the order of the day.
We will continue our route through a forest track that will take us to the Genal River, which runs with water throughout the year through the round mountain range, since his birth in the town of match, more than 47 km crossing the valley that bears his name, until it ends at the Guadiaro River, creating in its path the conditions for the development of cultivation on terraces inherited from the time of Al Andalus, the base of the local gastronomy that we will have the opportunity to enjoy in one of the local restaurants located on our route.
