Details of the experience
The Picasso Museum and Picasso tapas experience consists of a visit to the Picasso museum and a tasting of local tapas, to complete the visit, through which they will get to know the work of the Malaga genius in a different, delicious way.
We will start with a walk through the center of Malaga until we reach the Picasso Museum.
In the Picasso Museum the visit will be interactive, we will ask them to tell us what they see in the paintings and from these comments we will make our visit, making analogies that will later be completed with the meal.
Once the visit to the Picasso museum is over, we will go to a restaurant, where we can enjoy various tapas with which we will finish understanding Picasso's art, with analogies between food and his works.
Picassian tapas:
MALAGUEÑA SALAD
DECOMPOSE (ANY CUBIST BOX)
One of our most classic dishes. Made of potatoes, oranges, fish ... We have cut everything into pieces and without order, and although they are not whole, everything is recognizable, although they are only parts of a whole, as in cubism.
In cubist paintings we have seen how Picasso breaks down (cuts into pieces) objects and places them in different positions. As in this plate, from a piece we can recognize the foods that compose it, so we must look at cubism.
(AJOBLANCO OR LOLLIE)
WHITE GARLIC
IT IS NOT WHAT IT SEEMS (CLASSIC PICTURES)
This plate is not what it seems, take a good look.
We have seen some paintings where we have the feeling that they have a depth and we would need to touch them to realize that it is true to us. Now when this lid arrives, you will think: what do I see, a glass of milk, a yogurt? Now close your eyes and try. It is the taste, and not the eyes, that will tell you what you are eating. What we see is not always reality.
Lollipop
IT IS NOT WHAT IT SEEMS (CLASSIC PICTURES)
This plate is not what it seems, look closely.
We have seen some paintings, where we have the feeling that they have a depth and we would need to touch them to realize that it is not true. Now when this lid arrives, you will think: What do I see, a lollipop? Now close your eyes and try. It is the taste, and not the eyes, that will tell you what you are eating. GOAT MEAT BURGER
DO NOT TAKE ANYTHING FOR SIT (ANY WORK IN ROOM 8, 9 or 10)
Let's learn not to take anything for granted. When we go to a restaurant, we expect to get our food ready, but in this case it is not.
Picasso used to say that his paintings were not finished, the spectators finish them when they see them and say what they feel. We are going to get into the painter's shoes and we are going to create our plate. As in painting, each one of us can draw that reality, with the different components of this exquisite hamburger. Let the imagination run wild, dare like Picasso to change and be innovative. There is a world of possibilities to discover. Now you are the one who has to be an artist and get down to work to finish your own burger.
